Abu 66 & 66x how do you tell them apart

Gents, just a quick question, how?
Also, was the 66x and 66 available at the same time?

Thanks JAA, having a mark thats states 66x makes sense, I didn't realise it was that easy!

Just to update this thread, my two 66's have the larger knob on the handle this would indicate a newer version rather than it is a 66X model.

I thought the 'x' denoted a faster retrieve rate. I love the 44,66 and 77 abu reels and wish I hadn't sold the pair of 77's I had for carping in the early 80's but shiny new bait runners had caught my eye by the start of the 90's
still got a 44x that lives on my 500 most of the time now
