Good evening Gents,
I had a nice Friday at work (Tree Officer... the posh word Arboricultural, think I got the spelling right!) and managed to find three rod rest shaped sticks growing in the same woodland... Ash ( with the bark trimmed off) Cherry, on the left and Hazel on the right.
I lit my fire, poured out a beer and enjoyed just looking at them. It has been one strange week!

Ps I like a wide fork so it’s easy to drop the rod in. Purely personal.
