Old Jake boy. Glad I'm not counting that in a netting survey.
I have laid aside business, and gone a'fishing.

Very interesting, thanks for posting.
I've been lucky enough to have been invited to a couple of Environment Agency Electro fishing surveys on a small river close to me and the results were fascinating.

Interesting and a good use of tech. Always nicer to be in a flotation suit rather than a drysuit! It would be good to see other regions of the EA showing anglers what they are doing with the funding anglers provide. Today they will be busy with all the flooding.

Brilliant video Rutland Rod! Thank you very much for posting. There are so many parallels with our experience on the river Wye, even though the waters are so very different......we’ve got four metres on and still rising today. I cannot imagine what that would look like on the waters surveyed in the video. Or what would happen to those thousands and thousands of fry?
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......
