If my memory serves me correctly - the last picture is of the Tidal opposite to the old ice rink - not far from where Edgar Thurston's Tackle Shop was and managed/owned by Dave Steuart.

I never did go to that shop but it sounded a real good one.
I mainly fished the Thames at Walton and Penton Hook.

There is a photo of Dave the Shop owner on TFF..
I have saved it but didn't want to use someones else's photo!
(I don't mind folks using my photos but you never know)
The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
