Barbel for Life by Len Arbery

Post by Mark »

I managed to get hold of a signed copy of Barbel for Life by Len Arbery, a book that has been on my wanted list for a while now. I have always liked Len's writings going back to the first book of his I purchased Catching Big Tench.

where you find only elder trees, nettles and dreams. (BB - Denys Watkins-Pitchford).

Thats a lovely thing to have and keep in your collection Mark.
I never met Len but did make contact a few times with some interesting messages etc etc.
Definitely a book to be envious off. In a nice way of course.

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
