Efgeeco bucket

Post by Harry H »

I've quite fancied one of these for a while now and with none forth coming up for sale there was no alternative but to have ago at making one.
Lea Dweller was kind enough to lend me his to copy and must say they are not as simple to make as I thought but after a few attempts I managed a couple out of the materials that were available. They're a bit heavier material than the original but should do the job.

Also had the bonus of meeting up with Lea Dweller for a pint, sarni and chat while returning his bag plus a new one. :Hat:

They look superb. The lighter coloured one has an almost weathered look to it :Thumb:

What a cracking job! Amazes me what skills many of you anglers have.. you must be a sail maker or an upholster... then I looked at your occupation Harry!
Brilliant!
The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

Having inspected and compared Richard's bag with my original, I can confirm that it is an excellent effort! The new bag will be put to good use by my Son, who is also accompanying me to help with my table at Romsey on October 2nd. I will bring Richard's bag so that any interested TFF members can have a look! Thank you Richard it was great meeting and having a chat! :Hat:
