River Specialist.

Post by Caneforme »

I was very surprised at just how far I could cast a light float with my Ray Walton rolling pin without turning the spool side on, so surprised that I decided to purchase a second centre pin reel. This one is to have stronger line on and be used on my 'heavier fish' rods.
After spending several hours on the internet, reading reviews and looking at photo's i narrowed my choice down to 3. A hardy Conquest. a J W Young B J Lightweight and a J W Young River Specialist.
I spoke to some one I know who has owned all 3 of these and after negotiating a good discount I bought the one pictured below.

It is going to be a Christmas prezzie off of Sue so when it arrives my fishing buddy is going to check it over and it will be wrapped up for the big day.

This royal throne of kings, this sceptered isle,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.
