Just brought myself some quality wellies and there is room for some warm socks.
Any recommendations on a good quality warm sock for the colder months rather than me wearing two pairs of cheap socks which I use for work.

SEALSKINZ!

Not cheap, but 100% waterproof and very, very warm!

Personally, I have never found anything better...

I've got good pairs by HJ Socks, Pairs and Harkila. No doubt Barbour, Le Chameau etc will also do good pairs. Try before you buy if you possibly can! Nothing worse than over tight or otherwise poor fitting footwear. No need for waterproof socks in good wellies but the Sealskins are excellent for walking shoes, low boots etc

Agree here. 100% waterproof (because no walking boot ever is) very warm, but rather thick and not particularly breathable.

The best socks I've ever found are protrek. Try these: https://www.hj.co.uk/hj701c-adventure-trek-protrek
Certainly a luxury sock but after several 100 miles wearing well, warm and EXCEPTIONALLY comfortable

Bridgedale Base Layer Thermal Liner
Bridgedale Midweight Merino Comfort

Been using them for walking and fishing for over 20 years and never had a problem. I’ve learned by moist and uncomfortable experience to avoid waterproof socks. The liner is breathable and eliminates any possibility of blisters in wellies, waders or walking boots.

As above - Bridgedale in various sorts. With neoprene lined boots your feet always feel dry.
