Now having had one of these as a lad, and having sold a couple that were lying in the garage for £5 each I think I may have missed a trick?

Obviously they must be generous sellers as they are offering free P&P!

It won't sell!
I have a creel which I bought for £8 on ebay and there is always one on there now for £180 or so.
This basket isn't worth more than £40 tops.

That's the one I'm talking about. I have an identical one - even the strap. It isn't anything special at all and I got it for £8!

No off ebay years ago.
The lid is now half off. Poor quality but you get what you pay for!

Just another example of people taking the p*** on e-bay. I'd even go so far as to say it's not even worth £40...

Reading their description ... as soon as you see the word "Shabby" these days you know there's a 'designer' lurking in the background. I'm only surprised it wasn't followed by "Chic."

I seem to remember mine cost £35, new, in about 1980. If we apply the Beer Comparator, that gives...er... I don't really remember the Eighties... was I there? But it must be equivalent to at least £100 now.
Now so many fisheries have "nice",level platforms, I suppose I ought to unloft it, make a decent cushion and use it again!
