McPhail is a genius at tying flies!

At the moment I'm trying to tie a batch of flies with a more minimum look as I noticed my bushier ones were sitting in the water with the hook point at a slant . These are for Scottish lochs where the trout can get a good look at the flies before they commit to chewing them! So I'm opting for minimum dressing as recommended in a few books . But I'll also tie a few bushier ones. I'll post a pic layer.
