Now why does this news not surprise me. A cash cow for the greedy and worse without a scruple between them. As has been pointed out SAS have been monitoring this irregularity for a while. Absolutely nothing seems to ever get done regardless of evidence. We can but hope. At least it has made the news.

As a footnote SAS have a new app with some of our rivers and most of our coasts where there is a threat or sewage issue. They plan to expand the river networks as they progress. It is also a real-time app so the updates can be viewed as a good guide.

Possibly/probably/certainly this type of Machiavellian practice has become a norm since a certain political party took charge.

This isn't political on my part, just an observation - honest.

Thanks for posting the article Fredline
Without doubt there is a terrible stench of sewage surrounding the water companies and ofwat, the organisation charged with their regulation.

"Conflict of interest" ? Most definitely!

An mp suggests that Ofwat is asleep at the wheel, I suspect that they are very much awake to future job opportunities

Talk about gamekeeper turned poacher!! The sooner the water companies are renationalised or turned into not for profit companies the better. Is there any chance of that happening,is there 'eckerslike!!
