I have a very nice tweed rally style cap made by Bates of London, no doubt it was very expensive as I salvaged it from one of my clients, a very rich American banker/ lawyer who bailed out of the UK when the banking crisis hit. I rescued it from the top of a skip!

I also have another Barbour deerstalker style hat that I acquired size 7 1/8 or 58cm it's a little worn but free to a good home if anybody is interested?

I wear an Orvis lite felt hat. Bought it as it looked a bit Chris Yatesy and absolutely love it - wear it all the time

Does anybody know which hats Mr Yates favours - love the green felt one in APFA and more recently he seems to always be wearing the beat up cream one with a brown band - any clues??

I heard that Chris Yates APFA hat went up for auction years ago, but don't quote me on this.

I have an Indy type hat that the hatters in Bridport call the Ferret catcher,a green trilby,a straw hat for hot summer days, and a flat cap which is my favourite hat and the one that i wear the most.

I'm in need of more hats!

Any of you chaps recommend a place to get one like Chris Yates wears in APFA, it looks like a green fedora but I could be wrong.

Country fairs are good places to look for hats.

Make-up artists suppliers are your best bet for false beards.
