Hi guys,

Took a trip down to the Twyford (Evesham) country park stretch yesterday to take a look, now i know the pool was under development (been netted) but there was a sign up saying 'no fishing until further notice' and the river looks like it hasn't been fished for about a year, its totally overgrown and no wooden pegs anymore from what i could see (its been about 18 months since i even phoned about fishing this stretch).

Anyone know whats going on? Even the area around by the shops looks all over grown and un kept. Maybe the owners are just not interested in that side of it anymore?

I had never tried that stretch of river for barbel but it was my fave pike fishing spot!

Turns out i was right, the owners don't want anything to do with the fishing or the land side of things so it's been left to get overgrown.

I've heard Stuart who ran the stretch for them is trying to get rights on the opposite bank, so if anyone's interested in this stretch, keep your eyes and ears open.
