The Traditional Fisherman's Forum

Does anyone on the forum fish the Salisbury and District sections of the Avon - especially the Amesbury sections. I have some fond memories of the grayling residing in these sections and having them to myself most afternoons. There is a local artist Peter Snell who painted some oils of the Avon and my conversations with him in London led to a trip to the Avon and eventually to a membership in the Salisbury and District Anglers in 1988. I think I pad 65 pounds for the year.
