Rodent mesh
I have seen some rodent mesh on Amazon but I find it difficult to know how it will feel and flex unless I can touch it. So this morning I'm off to B&Q, Hobbycraft and Halfords, three shops all in a line at the top of town. I found some mesh in Wickes on Saturday but it was 6ml - too big I think. With the river on 4.2meteres and rising today seems a good day to make some feeders....
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......

Re: Rodent mesh
Try a garden centre, we have a local one that sells the mesh in various sizes, about half the price of any of the above, plus there is more variety in the size of the "weave".

Re: Rodent mesh
Have a look in Poundland. They sell little mesh baskets. I think they are for desk-top storage or draining cutlery. In my local Poundland they are in the section with picture frames and candles.
In order to shoot some close-ups, wildlife photographer ,the late Len Scapstillon, lured the orca to him by dressing as a seal.......

Re: Rodent mesh
Thank you gentlemen. I'm not sure that I can add a photo to an existing thread, so I'll do a new post, 'Rodent mesh 2' to show what I bought.
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......
