Re: Bobbin Indicators.
Great stuff David - inspirational craftsmanship. With all this extra time available I’m trying to find the slightest bit of practical creativity in me that I can apply to my assorted collection of fishing tackle.....
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......

Re: Bobbin Indicators.
I found a few for sale online, but they were solid, not hollow so no good for my quiver tip project, but OK if you are using hollow latex as the hinge.Old Man River wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 10:35 pmSince Ravenfield I have made a couple Andy, I can get on with another if you fancy one , just need to source a screw in adapter .BendSomeCane wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 10:16 pm Tremendous stuff Dave ... fancy making a 10” cane swingtip ?

Re: Bobbin Indicators.
Just got a bit of time on my hands and looking over old post ( looking for photos of Monkey climbers) and found this one..
Fantastic work! And a delight even if you don't go fishing!

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

Very posh David, ideal in wet weather when chub are being difficult, rather than dough bobbin.
