Er, anyone interested in trying the Wye for carp..? The Belmont stretch, perchance?

I'm making arrangements, hopefully, for next week: I understand that true giants are being landed, occasionally...

I would love to but I'm not free for a little while yet. I wish I knew more about the Wye. I have lived on it's door step for thirty odd years and have only fished it once at Mordiford.

Well, I hope to get my first session in on Friday October 21, on the Belmont stretch where a number of high thirties and even a few forties have been caught recently! I don't know how I'll do: I've only fished a river once in the past ten years! But I'll post a report and, when you want to, we can meet up and go for some big Wye beasties...

In refrence to the forties I wouldn't count on it. P.m on the way. St.

If you go again next year please put me down for a couple of days with you if you have spare space. :hat:
