Good evening all.

Image

I had an enjoyable day on the Weir at Molesley... (I have a weir ticket) The water was Gin clear with not enough rush and razzle in it for the Barbel, but I had a great Sunday evening anyway with just one Eel, about 1 1/2 lbs. The Barbel run "very big" hear so i was a little under gunned.

I am going to attempted to post a few photo's

Tight Lines.

Nice MrB. I fished there with a pal recently, no fish but it was a great day out. Some nice pike in them parts too....

Fantastic photos MrB. I used to fish Molesey weir back in the early 90s.
Never had a barbel there though - might revisit one day. Had some lovely pike from the back water (the lock keeper used to let us hire his rowing boat) and even a 9lb salmon from the weir in December!- it tore off like a demon and I thought I had hooked a record barbel!

Thanks Men... All good stuff... Yes, what a good spot. its fishy all right! big pike around as well. i will give them a go in the winter.
There is a Salmon ladder there to, how nice to know the Salmon run up that lovely river.

Hey, the knife was ok... Its all good if you have a good reason for carrying it.... saying that, might have been a little tricky at Waterloo Station!
