Rich,
I've never even heard of it! Let me know if you planning a trip and I'll tag along if that's ok. I like exploring!

I have laid aside business, and gone a'fishing.

I found it by accident on the internet while searching for info on a reel called the modernite pixie , it is a tributary of the River Devon , the picture is where it runs through Shelton just outside Newark and according to the net holds alot of Chub

Chub and Dace seem to be the main species

I suspect it'll be quite a job finding out. A look down the banks to see if any signs are up would be a good starting point.Richard Jackson wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 8:55 am Would anybody know if there is a list available on who controls certain stretches ?

Fished it about 40 Years ago at Orston , My Dad at the time was a GPO engineer and had permission to fish from a farmer , Had some nice roach and dace and loads of Bullheads and I can honestly say I’ve never seen a Bullhead since !
I often drive over the bridge not far from where we fished and unfortunately it now looks devoid of fish . Rumour has it that it did hold some trout many years ago.

Richard,
Did you ever gain access?
I am looking for small streams in the Newark area.
