One must be careful using Allcock's Guides as provenance, but the three piece Superb seems to have been made for only one year and is considered highly collectable by some.

In truth it was probably superceded by better rods quite quickly, but to the collector it's the rarity that grabs his attention.

I've seen two others in all this time....and one was a 'ringer'.

If I am not mistaken, I sold a lovely example of this rod to “shark boy” some time ago, but I cannot find the pictures?
