I had an early green stained Wallis Wizard and have handled and waggled two others.They were all slightly different Mark so if you want one be sure to have a waggle.Especially if you will be fishing with it.
Nobby.I do not know of any Hardy rods with Wizard in the name.Wallis yes as i am sure most people interested in Hardy rods will know.

Thank you for the information, so as my rod is a Wallace Avon it dates from just before or just after the war. I hooked a carp of around 10 pounds on it and it did test it but subdued it eventually. Probably the best all round rod I have as it also fishes a float nicely for smaller species. Sorry for the late reply, information appreciated!
