Forty Fore Tapers

Post by Dendrobaena »

I am restoring a Constable Forty Fore, so while it was in the bear cane i thought i would take the measurements of the tapers for any one who is interested. The measurements are taken across the three flats and and average taken.

Thank you for sharing this Neil - I'd love to see this section grow as I think it could be an amazing resource.

There are so many sources of tapers for cane fly rods but coarse rod tapers are that much harder to come by.

Thanks again
Steve

What an excellent rod the Forty Fore is. Enjoy the fruit of your labour.
