Hello
Good afternoon all. Thank you for accepting me to this wonderful forum. I've been an angler for 45 years now (I'm 54) but it would be fair to say that over the past 4 or 5 years I've fallen out of love with fishing. I got tired of chasing the latest carp rig, all the bling, and everyone filling in lakes with spod mix etc. However lockdown has given me time to think and realised that I have missed angling and now want to start again fishing in the way I enjoyed all those years ago, and hence find myself here. My dad has just given me his Richard Walker MK4 split cane carp rod and I've just ordered a Mitchell 410 to join it to go chasing carp with crust in the summer. I cant wait to get back to the fishing I grew up with and loved.
