Returning...
Hello again!
After a long break, Mark has done his due diligence on me and I've got away with it!!
Many thanks for allowing me back. Just retired for the second time and want to get back to rod-re-doing again.
Might need some advice from the tremendous well of knowledge on the Forum, if I may be so bold.
Sussex is my home county. Grew up on the Lee, New River (not often mentioned but some good fish), Trent Park, Thames etc., etc. Then much further afield with my first Mini.
I've got far too many cane rods and a few 'pins and early Mitchells. A few rods need attention.
I am very pleased to be back; please be gentle!
Mike

Welcome back Mike.
I recall meeting you at the first TFF AGM in 2012. I wondered where you had gone when I looked at the photos recently.

Re: Returning...
Welcome back sir. You mentioned the new river as having some good fish, I love to walk the new river around the hoddesdon/Broxbourne area when I visit my brother who lives in Hoddesdon. I have been lead to believe that there is no fishing allowed on the new river, if I am wrong I really would like to try my luck when we can finally travel again. Is there a stretch that fishing was allowed or have these fish just been seen.
Thanks
