Welcome Peter,
Last Grayling I caught was on the Dee about 8 years ago. ( not on a nice old greenheart fly rod though).
Got the permit in a lovely little tackle shop for abound £7 for a day... Beautiful stretch of the river and I was the only one on it.
Enjoy TFF.
