The most precious places in the English landscape are those secretive corners,
where you find only elder trees, nettles and dreams. (BB - Denys Watkins-Pitchford).

Above is a 1962 catalogue and although it shows some of their branded items, they seemed to be mainly a distributor of others goods. This helps me to date reels etc quite closely. For instance this issue has Pinvin reels which seem to be made by Noris (Hence Noris Shakespeare?), Rapidex, Trudex, the Bretton range, 3 Dam Quick reels, Ofmer reels, Ambidex Mk5 & Mk6 & a Shakespeare Spin Wondereel. This covers many of the makers soon to be incorporated. In addition there is a range of Intrepids of the time, De Luxe, Supreme, Elite & the Match centrepin.

Best regards,
Bob

Hi Haydn,
I have reproduced the page that the 'Hampshire' is detailed on, I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Bob

Hi Haydn,
Attached are pages 16 & 17 of the same catalogue. These are the only 2 additional pages with cane rods illustrated.
