Taking it apart is all pretty straightforward, depending on your experience, of course.

From memory, the 'gudgeon pin', the silver rod that connects the long curved arm to the shaft that goes forwards and backwards only fits correctly in one way, put it back wrong and it binds in the groove on the side cover as the screws are tightened.


That's a black plastic rotating head, or 'flyer' so it's a true Delmatic. Designed by Ted Young to celebrate to creation of Allcock-Young, the forerunner to the disastrous Top Tackle under Leonard Matcham who flogged them all off to Shakespeare!

Does anyone have a diagram or photo of the order of assembly of the washers and shims in the drive train?
