Such a shame that so many A.E. Rudge posts contain the word "unknown" or "what is it" etc.

I have my own one. A 12'3" beast all split / built cane and with really strong spigot end ferrules. It looks to all intents and purposes like a barbel rod...so that's what I've used it for!

However it does have a model signature that looks like "The Tama" ( with the T being in old style script so could be a Y) at first I thought it was "Tamar"...but there is definitely no "r" at the end.

Final point is that the whippings are alternate olive / ruby. Obviously refurbished but can anyone tell me if that is the correct colour?

I'll try and get some photos on later.

Hi,
Sounds rather like a salmon fly rod, the spigots on the ferrules point that way.
