A Landmark Moment

Post by AshbyCut »

Thanks to fellow TFF member Peter Foster I am delighted and proud to announce that the 'national archive' of rods made by this family is about to number 60 !!! Thank you Peter, Sir.

Winging it's way to me is "The Gem," the 2 piece, split cane spinning rod with a 14 inch handle, which you may have seen mentioned in another thread.

I'll add photos when it arrives in my care.

Now that must be on hell of a rod rack you have AC :Hat:

Well done Mal!

Is Mrs AC still rocking and muttering
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Good grief, that's some collection, AC. Hope you've got good home insurance.

My Fair Lady is only worried about how she'll cope when she reaches pension age in 5 and a half years, and has to be here with me all day !!!

I'm working on creating a situation where she'll be sending me out fishing at every opportunity !!!
