The obsession quietly grows apace !!!

Post by AshbyCut »

Some of you will remember that a couple of years ago I became Owner, Managing Director, and sole shareholder of "Precision Rods Ltd." in an attempt to protect the name but there was still a hole to be filled.

I have just filled that gap ... and as of today I am now also the Owner, Managing Director, and sole shareholder of "Bernard Sealey & Co. Ltd" !!!

(For those who don't know ... 'Precision Rods' was the trading name of Bernard Sealey and Company from the start of the company until the mid 1960's when it was dropped, and they simply traded as "Bernard Sealey and Co." until they ceased production in 1984.)

I’ll raise a glass to the new lord and master of Sealey rods. I’m not suggesting you should, but it would be lovely if a couple of companies started making rods again. Not the ultra high end barder or Davis rods, but maybe the fifty to a hundred pound mark.

Why not make a bid for GKN before it’s too late :tea:
