They also make maggot bags for trotting - very good although I have replaced the hanging loop.

However their rod bags seem to be expensive - OK if they are excellent?

I managed to get some good quality rod bags made up by a friend who has a company manufacturing workwear. He buys cloth in huge quantities and used off cuts to make the bags so they were very reasonably priced. I think I supplied some to TFF members, although some people said they were not interested as Ellen Lawrence made bags for them. I could enquire of him again if anybody was interested.

As it appears Ellen is not currently available to make them which is a shame, so an alternative would be good.

There were several sellers on that auction site who were also very competent but have since ceased trading.

Here you go Galician - trust this help.

Any dimensions you cannot read let me know and I will post you a hard copy.

All the best and enjoy the rod - I have been fortunate enough to catch some really good fish with mine.

Thanks BB, Thanks for your contact. I contacted Rodcraftsman by email last week and by telephone today, no reply or answer as yet I'm afraid. They do look very good and will make an excellent acompliment for any rod.

As far as I can tell Ellen Lawrence is still making her superb rod bags.
I received four from her a few weeks ago. I had to wait several weeks but I told her when I ordered that I was in no hurry.

I had a few made by her some years ago, from her eBay site.
They are excellent rod bags, and good quality.

Just to let you know Ellen Lawrence has informed me that she is recovering from an eye operation which if successful will mean she will have the other eye operated on. Therefore she may not be making rod bags in the near future and possibly not at all this year.
