as the diawa is a rip off of the abu 506 ,it has the same fault ,when two pins fitted ,they both didn't always operate together ,the slide is notched and has a curved base ,the lugs on the end of the centre column disengage the slide being held in by the notch ,it displaces/trips ,the coffin (release) spring flex's and the other spring pushes it out .the problem being the spring doesn't flex both sides exactly the same time and one or other slides tends too stick or not release as quick ,So even if two was fitted at the factory one was removed ,this solved the problem as the spring only needed to flex one side and could manage that with a snap ,its just more efficient using one pin .the second hole acts as a spare in case first one wears or sticks etc just swap the slide and gubbins over too the other side ...one pin was enough

That 125 pin mechanism looks identical to my 123.
