Who made the KORKA ?

Post by Tonkin Wand »

There is currently on the site ( you know where) of a fixed spool reel named KORKA; made in england is the only other clue.Does any one know if this was a product of TJ Harrington who made a variety of reels of an alloy construction. The name suggests it came from the same stable never come across it before . Tony.

There is nothing about this reel on the Harrington sites However a sale slogan for their air pistol was ""its a corker They made the" its a Kracka reel"and many others.Somebody must have some data for this company who targeted the younger market post war.

It was TJ Harringtons... I have a Little Kracka kicking about somewhere... it's more of a children's reel made of cast pot metal and quite crude
