I should have been at his house months ago but it has given him time to sort out his reels ready for the table layout and then trying to put his and mine into some sort of order.

I envy you seeing some of Roger's collection, I know that he had some extremely rare reels!

SOME!! he has indeed, When I want to see a reel I ask him do you have such and such mmmmm yes a couple.

A few years ago someone asked me if I had an Ustonson or knew anyone, I asked him and he said two.

One reel he does not have and I have never seen one is the Slater Jardine reel. Very rare I have seen the illustrations but never the reel.

Anyone have one ebonite no handles large vent holes in the faceplate with rings inserted to wind in and prevent your fingers being broken.
