Before I Forget by Rod Hutchinson

Post by Mark »

Just pre-ordered my copy of Before I Forget by Rod Hutchinson from The Little Egret Press.

Taken from the LEP website.

Offered here is a very special book. Through 2017 and early 2018 Rod Hutchinson had been working with me on a new book. Over that period he completed about 23,000 words, all original work, and allowed me access to his extensive library of slides and photographs.
Following the tragic loss of Rod last summer, before he completed the book, I was unsure what to do with the material he had written but after discussions with both of Rod’s daughters we agreed to honour his memory by completing the project and I was given permission to design and print the book.

Available now to PRE ORDER for delivery late October.

Featuring a wide array of original artwork from Adam Entwistle, Dave David Blackaller, Pete Curtis and Robin Woolnough as well as many rare photographs many never published before.

I have read that it is Chris Yates rod the Mk IV Avon and Ambidex reel, he put it there while Rod was sleeping and took the picture.

Interesting to know, I wasn't aware the Avon had a screw down reel seat but sliding fittings instead. I read that Hutchinson used cane and Intrepid Elite reels.

I did not spot that, looks like it is a LRH.
