Harry, it is a nice little book and can be interesting if you like the history of rod making.
If you look for a „how to make a split cane rod“ type of book this one is pretty much useless in my opinion.
I have a copy at home and can send you some pics if you like.

Its good little book with sound advice for basic rod making and repairs. Ideal for anyone starting out repairing rods.

If I remember correctly one of the "How To Catch Them" series was the same title and author but much more detailed.
