Terry Hearn's new book " Through the Mist"
Only this week it came to my attention that Terry Hearn had released a new book. Being a fan of terry's i went to the calm productions website to order a copy only to find they has sold out. So then i went to ebay to try and find a copy at a reasonable price only to be horrified at the prices they were selling for, on average over £100. Seems to me enterprising individuals only bought the book or books in some cases to make a profit. Not sure whether to congratulate them on their business prowess or condone them for profiteering . Probably the latter .

I have never read one of his books, but I really enjoy his stories that are released on you tube.

Such a demand that the website crashed on the first day it went on sale. 5000 copies in the first edition and it sold out on the first day I believe.
Must be some sort of record for a fishing book.
Glad to say my signed copy arrived today.
Reprint due at the end of January.

Re: Terry Hearn's new book " Through the Mist"
The book launch was a right Fred Karno's. The first 500 copies were signed and the launch was at midnight, well, carpy types tend to stay up late and within no time at all, the site crashed. Some snuck a sale through at about 3 to 4 am but next day the carp forums were melting. Calm announced that the site was shutting until they had sorted it out but it was still 'live' as they put 10p pieces in the metre and scratched their heads. I managed to get under the radar and ordered a copy for my lad's Christmas.... well, that was before I heard about the mark-up price

Ivan Marks on Matchfishing sold so many that it was reprinted twice before publication!CrayCane wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 5:47 pm Such a demand that the website crashed on the first day it went on sale. 5000 copies in the first edition and it sold out on the first day I believe.
