Magazines

Post by OhMyGoodness »

I'm looking for a list, if there is such a thing, showing all the angling magazines from the last century, post-war, the names and when they started and ended publication. To name a few:
Fishing
Angling
Coarse angler
Coarse Fisherman
Creel
Rod & Line
Fisherman

'The Carp' (British Carp Study Group magazine) doesn't appear to be listed.

This has run in 3 phases. The first two copies were actually just newsletters rather than actual magazines and these started in 1969.

The first actual magazine was June 1970 and that ran up to issue 53 in December 1987.

The group went through a short period of little activity but in 1991 the magazine was re-launched and has continued to run to this day. There have been 44 more magazines since 1991, the latest edition was released in December 2000.

It is a real refreshing read containing no form of advertising and is totally self funded by the group to high street standards.
