River Perch

Post by Moley »

Fatty had the correct papieren bitte so the great escape was well and truly on.

Destination Aldermaston Mill to meet Stevio and a few other ne'er do wells of the piscatorial persuasion. To accompany the Mole two pies were riding shotgun.....a steak and ale and beef pasty; they did not make the return journey :Hat:

Tackle was a green stained Wizard type rod and doctored Wilson Heritage. It would be a trotting day with red maggots; and lo it was so!

Two roach of about 6- 8oz made a mistake, along with some dace and chublets, minnows and two decent perch.....the biggest had his portrait stolen:

Pleasingly just over the magic two, at 2lb 1oz, also very handsome with his chalk-stream colours :Thumb:

The day was a strolling about sort of day; the type much favoured by Moles....better still upon his return home was another pie cooked by a smiling Matron :Scared:, trapped wind surely, never mind as the scran was good!

As ever,.........

Moley
Say aye tae'a pie!

......and you were meant to be there naughty boy.....take a House Demerit!

It was a Gudgeon Match but the ones in the Mole swim were too scared to come out for some reason

Perhaps Garry is correct, for once, with a sensible answer.....

.....is this an attempt to curry favour Garry in case Matron :Scared: decides to annex Tisbury, whilst utilising the Procter Household as base for these activities?

Involuntary bed wetting, through fear, is not a good look for a grown man Garry :Hat:

Sadly boarding school duties took precedence :hairpull: . A major reason for me retiring next summer. :huray: :dance2:
