TD, would love to get one like that out of Warren Pond in the Summer
Are there any in any of the Forrest ponds Gaz?
Our club lake, gravel pit-7acres, is Tench and Bream heaven with just a few carp, all over 20lb, but the latter are rarely seen. Its perfectly suited to traditional methods and I was thinking of approaching the committee to see whether or not I could organise a weekend for a group of non members next year. I can put you on to tench like this and bream approaching double figures on any part of the lake, especially early season before weed takes over vast areas of it. If there was interest it would be my pleasure and we would have the place to ourselves more or less. Its not a runs water and quite hard but most will catch over a day or two and when you do its always rewarding.
