Dendro.... Dendrab.... S*ddit... Worms

Post by Aitch »

Can anyone help... I have a quarter kilo of Denrdrab... Dendrobe... them worms....
As we can't fish now til mid feb, is there a way to keep em going till then...? If I leave them in their original tub they'll die, so If I can keep them going til we can fish again I'll save meself a few quid... the 2 pints of maggots I can freeze
Just one more cast love, and I'll be on me way home

Put them in a bucket with a lid and some drain holes. Top up the material they came in with dead leaves and damp strips of newspaper. Feed them once a week with a little unsalted mashed potato. Discard any worms which give up the ghost.

Stick them in your compost heap Aitch and they will be fine until you need them....
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......

They are the worms most often supplied for use in home composters/wormeries. Good time to take up a hobby useful for gardening and fishing Aitch!
