A Mr Cherry Fishing Rod Rest and others with Jay and Jungle Cock feathers
I had several lengths of hazel and other wood cuttings given to me sometime back by a good friend of mine Marc ( perchbobber46 ) asking if I could use them as possible rod rests. After making a couple, I decided to make Marc a special one not knowing how it might turn out..here is the result that I hope he will like. I have used a favorite Mr Cherry pose that I have sketched on under an acrylic green paint base colour. it has has two coverings of varnish and I will be adding another two. I am pleased with the result so I might try this again..plenty of time on my hands as for the other pair I have fitter Jay and jungle cock feathers , which I myself like
hope you like the rest and thanks for looking

Crikey - there absolutely superb Micky - I have one issue with them - if I had one I would miss nearly every bite - simply because I couldn’t stop looking at them - brilliant!
