i have just been informed that no day tickets will be issued on the laa water at britford nr salisbury due to lockdown restrictions ,untill such time as thay can be lifted, i would hate someone to do a 2 hour drive only to find thay cannot fish the river on june16th

That makes perfect sense, glad the LAA are taking things cautiously, I know the Chairman well and consider him a friend, both he and his wife have had the virus, fortunately both have survived to tell the tale.....

Maybe I'll get down there earlier in the season than normal I must admit it being so busy in the past has made it a 2 time a season venue for me at most

Looks like the no day ticket policy at britford is permanent from now on,the weed growth is unbelievable this season anyway, best left till winter

I understand the keepnet ban will be lifted on June 16th 2024 at britford,I think it should never been enforce,d in the first place
