The lined rings will probably make it droop even more, but if in doubt don't. Something else will come along soon…

Ah now if you'd said that first, I'd have definitely stay keep your powder dry for Redditch and not bother with a rod you can't waggle.

I messaged the seller to say I am no longer interested and he said thats fine as someone else has now purchased it, also that ALL cane rods over 9foot will have a droop.

I will have one of those MKIV's one day
