Sadly we were let down with the crane, and the oak is still in the pool. I'm sure les or nick will post some sort of a statment about it in the near future on the redmire forum, but looks like it will be there for this Season.

I quite like sitting on the end of it anyway. Challenge for this year's trip, to catch a fish from it.

I wouldn't recommend fishing from the end of it. There a few snags and landing a fish would be detrimental to its and your health! I just spent the last three days tidying up and saw soo many fish. Fish that do not get caught. At one point les and I watched a group of three fish and not of them was below a high twenty.

You lucky man. In lurk on thr Redmire Forum sometimes (thats how I found this) next phone wars perhaps my luck will be in. Oh for a week at Redmire.
