Today chaps I received a lovely Dick Walker framed picture in the post from my good friend Martin James. It is the same picture as on the front of one of my favourite Dick Walker books “The Best of Dick Walker’s Coarse Fishing”
Thank you Martin I shall treasure this forever and thank you for the lovely inscription you wrote on the back.

The most precious places in the English landscape are those secretive corners,
where you find only elder trees, nettles and dreams. (BB - Denys Watkins-Pitchford).
A lovely gesture - I hope that you have good security at home Mark. I worry about valuable collections being in the public domain and a lot of TFF members do have great collections of fishing tackle. I've got mainly junk in my garage but I still put a padlock on at night. Even if I left the garage door wide open for a week, I don't think anything would go.....
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......
