Green & Gold - A Fallon's angler film
Hey all
To celebrate the publication of Fallon's angler Issue 12 (which has gone to press and available to preorder for March 9th - on time!!!), I joined Garrett and Nick on the River Kennet at The Old Mill, Aldermaston.
For many years this was my favourite fishing spot, but our move west means I haven't fished it for many years. It was cold, the river was very low, and the target was a 2lb perch.
Apologies for the lack of cane, but my elbows have been a bit dodgy of late, and 12 feet of glass fibre (my late Grandfather's rod) was a lot more comfortable to wield than a lump of wood.....!
Hope you enjoy it!

Very nice indeed Kev - useful to have a ghillie! Was that a new float, specially for the occasion?

It was a lucky float - made for me by TemeLAD. But sadly, it didn't make the journey home......
Funnily enough, it has been replaced as my 'lucky' float by one of your 'specials' - but frozen fingers managed to snap that in half last week....

Thanks CrayCane - As with the last film, Nick should take the credit. I definitely had the easy part!

I'll make sure I have a good supply of 'specials' next time we fish together, you must take some spares this time. All of them are equally lucky And if you have the two halves of the broken one, should you wish to preserve that particular 'special' I could always mend it for you.
