Great news Mark.... it would be great if Redmire was opened once more for fishing, but who knows what the future holds...

Barbulus wrote: Thu Oct 11, 2018 10:45 am Very many thanks Skeff; I admire your commitment and work. (I don't know who else is there but sincere thanks to all). If you are able to post any photos perhaps - maybe at the end as a "wash up".
I will do a proper write up at the end, with photographs, I promise!
Very well done really admire the commitment

Thanks for the update, good to hear you've left some of the existing organic matter in as I once witnessed a small lake drained and every last drop of silt pumped out. It then suffered years of algal blooms and water quality issues.

Exactly that Greg!!! There is a major spring there and the force of water is just incredible! We will be working in that area next week but I can easily imagine a huge pit in the lake bed scoured out by the force of the spring... Interestingly items been a real summer hotshot for me....

This explains why the monsters went years without being seen. They were leaving the pool via the spring entering Pitchfords pit and going elsewhere before returning a few years later! :Chuckle:
