The railway Guides

This is the rarest railway/fishing guide I've come across as it's the only copy I've ever seen. Has anyone else ever seen a copy?

The author is Philip Geen who wrote two delightful books "What I Have Seen While Fishing" and "Days Stolen for Sport"

Can’t find it, I did find this though - 1920s, cover by Norman Wilkinson, apart from being a bit tatty, what’s not to like?

Forgot to add this - I gambled £50 on this publication knowing that it had spent years in a smoker’s house and as a result was absolutely filthy, the gamble being, could I clean it up?
I used the featured brew, using a little at a time, and I’m quite proud of the result because the front cover was a similar colour to the area bottom right. Anyone needing to clean up cloth and non absorbent covers might consider this, my purchase was made from the bookshop featured, and I commend it to the house.

There's also John Berry's A Train To Catch book from Medlar Press, where he follows in the footsteps of anglers travelling by train.
Not a guide, but may be a good read for those with interest in this subject.

What a superb thread this is Phil. I've got lots of steam engine books because I was a big train spotter back in the 50' and 60's. Second hand book shops are a great place to pick up these books for very little cash. I haven't noticed your publications, but next time I'm out on the hunt for steam train books I will keep a watchful eye. Thank you for your posts.....

Hi Phil - it was published in 1913 and it was the North Eastern Railway not GNR as I stated earlier.
