I treated myself to a John Wilson Heritage Centrepin as this season I fancy doing a bit of long trotting. It came this morning and it's never been used, what a shame just sitting in its box.
Does anyone know how to date these reels.

Very nice indeed Mark! Does the designation Y2000 give it away I wonder?
Just found the manufacture date on the inside certificate, September 2018.

I wonder where they are made now.....it used to be Swindon(?), but may have shifted abroad? I've always wanted one, but prices have gone up again now, inevitably.
